Description
Opioid misuse and opioid use disorder are on the rise among older adults. This session will discuss the impact of substance abuse disorders (SUD) on an aging population, explore how geriatric syndromes may impact SUD care in adults aging with addiction, and review the use of buprenorphine and other medications for opioid and substance use disorders in older adults with SUD.
