Amy Lewitz is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist with over 38 years of experience. She earned a BSN degree with honors, and an MS degree in psychiatric community mental health nursing, with a certificate in gerontology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Amy has worked as an educator and clinician, in hospital, outpatient, community, and private practice providing geropsychosocial nursing care. She is a member of the Chicago GAPNA chapter, and the GAPNA GeropPsych SIG. She has been a co-author and co-presenter on topics related to geriatric mental health care.
