Jen Pettis is a master-prepared registered nurse whose over 30-year career has been dedicated to improving care and outcomes for older adults through roles in direct care, policy/advocacy, consulting, and education. She oversees GSA’s brain health portfolio, including the GSA KAER toolkit for brain health. She spearheaded the development of the new online version of the toolkit and is a frequent presenter at national, state, and regional conferences. She has been recognized as a distinguished educator in gerontological nursing by the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence, and is a part recipient of Sigma’s Amy J. Berman Geriatric Nursing Leadership Award. In 2024, she developed and launched a similar workshop in collaboration with the DAC-SP team and other experts at the GSA annual scientific meeting.
