This session is a “hands-on” experience to augment the knowledge and confidence of advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in health policy and advocacy efforts. The session will include microlearning, followed by immediate application of the new knowledge. By the end of the session, you will have started a relationship with your state and federal legislators, participate in one or more advocacy efforts, and draft an email in support/against an issue. Baseline knowledge is expected as this presentation will be focused on application.
