Vinyasa yoga uses movements that connect the postures to your breath. It is considered a moving meditative modality. “Vi” means a special way and “Nyasa” means to place. Vinyasa is a dynamic flow which evolved from Hatha practices. Vinyasa honors the whole body and brings awareness into the body while our movements connect to our breath. Vinyasa yoga can assist with flexibility, mobility, strength, and breath work. Mental health is a component of yoga, as it assists with anxiety, stress, and depression. Self-care starts within our own bodies and by acknowledging our mental health. The Vinyasa flow class will allow you to move at your own speed and no experience is necessary.
