Stefan Sulay is a nurse informaticist at Sutter Health with a clinical background in cardiac telemetry and nursing leadership. His expertise includes EHR workflow design and optimization, nursing documentation, clinical decision support, interoperability, care coordination, and patient placement. Stefan has led and supported system-wide initiatives focused on reducing documentation burden, standardizing clinical workflows, and improving the clinician experience. His work includes Sutter Health’s nursing FOCUS initiative, EHR implementation and optimization, smart pump interoperability, perioperative workflows, and capacity management. He brings a frontline clinical perspective to translating complex technology and operational needs into practical, scalable solutions that support efficient workflows and patient care.
