Dr. Cory Stephens is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and a nationally recognized leader in nursing informatics and artificial intelligence. As co-project director of the Maryland AIM-High Program, he advances statewide AI literacy, faculty development, and workforce readiness. He developed JAIMIE, a generative AI virtual teaching assistant designed to support nursing students and faculty. Dr. Stephens is also a co-editor and author of a forthcoming textbook focused on preparing nurse educators to responsibly integrate AI into teaching, learning, and practice.
