Malgorzata "Gosia" Ryan is director of nursing informatics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she leads a team focused on implementing and optimizing technology solutions that support clinical practice and patient care. With more than 21 years of nursing experience, including 11 years of experience in nursing informatics, she has led initiatives in clinical documentation, workflow optimization, nursing workload measurement, and Epic enhancements across Johns Hopkins Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's nursing informatics program, the Johns Hopkins Medicine LEADS program, and recipient of the Ann Hoffman Excellence Award in Data Discovery. In addition to her healthcare leadership career, Gosia recently retired as a lieutenant colonel in the US Army Reserve after more than 21 years of service and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
