Dr. Melissa Macogay is vice president and chief nursing officer at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. With more than 25 years of nursing experience, her career has spanned pediatric critical care, nursing leadership, professional practice, and healthcare innovation. Dr. Macogay is a national leader in technology-enabled nursing practice and currently co-leads ambient nursing documentation adoption across the Johns Hopkins Health System, focusing on leadership enablement, workflow transformation, and sustainable adoption of AI-supported documentation. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Executive Leadership degree and an MBA degree in healthcare management and is board certified as a nurse executive and critical care registered nurse.
