Dr. Midori Kondo serves as vice president and chief application officer for UCSF Health, where she leads application, digital, and emerging technology strategies supporting clinical care, research, and business operations. Midori is recognized for aligning technology investments with organizational priorities to improve performance, interoperability, patient experience, and operational efficiency. Her expertise spans enterprise applications, analytics and data strategy, AI governance, product development, EMR modernization, and organizational transformation. Midori is passionate about developing future leaders, building high-performing teams, and leveraging technology to advance healthcare delivery, research, and health equity. Beyond her organizational leadership, she serves on the executive board of directors for HIMSS SoCal, the California Dialogue on Cancer Executive Committee, the California Cancer Registry Advisory Committee, and the California LGBTQ+ Health and Human Services Network Advisory Committee.
