Dr. Lauren Clement is a healthcare executive, nurse informaticist, consultant, and nursing faculty member with more than 25 years of healthcare experience and over 12 years specializing in clinical informatics, digital transformation, and healthcare technology. She most recently served as senior director of clinical informatics and Epic education at Ballad Health. Dr. Clement has extensive experience leading interdisciplinary teams. She is passionate about helping nurses understand that informatics is not a departure from nursing practice, but an extension of it—one that directly influences patient safety, clinician experience, and healthcare outcomes. In addition to her executive leadership experience, Dr. Clement serves as adjunct nursing faculty, teaching nursing informatics and healthcare technology while mentoring the next generation of nurse leaders. She has presented nationally on nursing informatics, healthcare technology, clinician adoption, and workflow optimization, including presentations at Epic XGM and UGM, HIMSS Tennessee, HIMSS Global, and the Tennessee chapter of ANIA.
