Description
Cognitive offloading — the process of transferring mental work to external tools or systems — is reshaping how nurses and informatics professionals interact with data. Yet few clinicians have the opportunity to experience firsthand how the tools they choose shape not only their efficiency, but their depth of understanding. This preconference workshop uses an experiential, comparative group design to immerse attendees in the cognitive offloading spectrum, from manual data analysis to artificial intelligence-assisted interpretation, and invites critical reflection on what is gained and lost at each level.
