Dr. Chad Carroll currently serves as a health informaticist at Northwestern Medicine, focusing on system-wide initiatives across ten medical facilities in the Chicagoland area since December 2019. In addition to this role, Chad is also an adjunct faculty member at Lewis University. Previously, Chad held the position of clinical application analyst at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where responsibilities included optimizing clinical informatics systems and leading electronic health records initiatives from January 2015 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes roles as a registered staff nurse and staff educator at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where involvement in nursing informatics began, as well as serving as clinical nurse manager at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Chad's educational background includes a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Healthcare IT degree from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Science in Healthcare IT degree from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University.
