Stephanie Rogers serves as chief nursing informatics officer at Children's Mercy in Kansas City. With 35 years of nursing experience, she is a clinical innovator and health IT executive known for driving transformational change across complex healthcare environments. Stephanie leads enterprise strategy for clinical systems, virtual care models, and digital capabilities that support high-quality care and patient-centered care at one of the nation’s top-ranked pediatric hospitals. Her leadership focuses on advancing technology enabled care models that enhance clinician experience, strengthen patient and family engagement, and improve operational performance.
As a healthcare executive and informatics nurse leader, Stephanie’s work is grounded in strong relationship building, development of high-performing multidisciplinary teams, and a deep belief in human-centered design. She holds multiple patents for her contributions to healthcare innovation. Before joining Children’s Mercy, Stephanie spent more than two decades in executive leadership roles within a global healthcare IT organization, leading strategy, innovation, clinical technology design, solution portfolio development, market advancement, and enterprise engagement delivery. Stephanie is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in nursing informatics. She earned her Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
