Rachel Tshiamala is currently a nursing informatics specialist at Henry Ford Heath in Michigan and has been a nurse for over 13 years. Rachel obtained her BSN degree from Michigan State University in 2012 and her MSN degree in nursing informatics from Vanderbilt University in 2017. Rachel's bedside nursing background is in the cardiothoracic and cardiovascular ICU at UPMC Presbyterian and Henry Ford Hospital. Then in 2017, Rachel transitioned to clinical informatics at Henry Ford Health. Rachel has a passion for using technology to make the bedside nurses' everyday tasks easier and to advance the profession of nursing using technology.
