Dr. Jennifer Johnson is an assistant professor in the undergraduate nursing program at Ursuline College. She has over 20 years of clinical experience in adult medical-surgical nursing, cystic fibrosis, and cardiac care, with practice spanning West Virginia, Michigan, and Ohio. Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Marshall University, her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Michigan State University with a focus on family nursing, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Walsh University. She is also a certified nurse educator (CNE). Her professional interests include the role of nurses in early sepsis identification and innovative teaching–learning practices that prepare graduates for today’s complex healthcare environment.
