Elizabeth Weeks is currently a value stream manager at the University of Kansas Health System where she supports the inpatient and emergency department value streams. Elizabeth is the founder of the Heart of America local chapter of the ANIA, the former West region director of ANIA, and was 2021 ANIA president. Elizabeth has also presented continuing nursing education related to informatics concepts and principles to her local chapter, organization, and other regional and national venues. Elizabeth received her BSN degree from Missouri Western State University in 2002. She is ANCC board-certified in informatics nursing, she is a certified medical-surgical RN and a certified lean leader. She has worked in informatics since 2010.
