Dr. CJ Wachs serves as the chief nursing informatics officer at BMC, bringing over 20 years of expertise in nursing informatics. Before joining BMC, she was the director of clinical and business informatics at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis and led clinical informatics at Beacon Health System in Indiana for nine years. CJ holds an MSN degree from George Washington University and a DNP degree from Northern Kentucky University and is certified in both nursing leadership and nursing informatics. She is also a published author and experienced national speaker in her field. CJ’s service in the US Army and Gulf War informed her passion for teamwork and discipline to achieve results. Her leadership and innovation are key to advancing nursing informatics and driving impactful change at BMC.
